What is 58Twelve?
58Twelve, formed in 2005, is the product of experience and frustration that gave birth to an expansive vision. Now that may seem an odd mix of components, but each has been vital to the establishment of a proactive, flexible people-focused consultancy business.
Experience: Accessing over 10 years of experience of investigating and managing businesses going through periods of substantial change, 58Twelve has considerable insight into the process of change and development in a business – its delights and its pitfalls.
Frustration: During those 10 years in restructuring and recovery services, a key realisation for 58Twelve’s founder, Andy White, was that it is people that make or break a business, and yet it is people that are often overlooked in the pursuit of profit. He came to the conclusion that where, in a business, people are fulfilled then profit will be a natural outcome. The fact that in his own personal experience, as well as that in the businesses he was called upon to assist, people were treated with such disdain, an expendable tool to generate profit, created a frustration that eventually led him to seek an alternative way.
So what is 58Twelve’s Vision?
Andy had a vision to see people – whether as corporate leaders, team-members or ‘go-it-alone’ entrepreneurs – reach their potential, for in that achievement would come fulfilment. This vision became a central part of the ethos he has instilled in 58Twelve, and forms the basis of our approach to every assignment we undertake.
The 58Twelve Way
