ROLE: STRATEGIC DEVELOPMENT CONSULTANT

To assist clients to release potential within their organisations through financial, strategic, and design consultancy advice. This included the provision of management and financial accountancy support, financial planning advice and support, strategic development projects, vision workshops, and media and design work, including video production, desktop publishing and website design.
Key Achievements:
Assisted a client with a number of strategic development, promotional and fund-raising initiatives, which formed the foundation for funding that has facilitated a one million pound capital investment programme.
Secured over £5,000 of grant-based funding, in addition to over £25,000 of funding from individuals and small organisations for a charity. Organised and delivered a week of events for the charity in November 2005, which included a sell-out conference featuring international speakers and musicians for that charity. Designed, built and launched two discussion-based websites with authors from across the world, which received over 100,000 unique visits per year.
Established a web-based client portfolio site, together with pricing structure and business plan for a start-up photography business.
Spoke at a national American Outreach Conference in 2006, as well as delivering workshops at that conference in 2004, 2005 and 2006.
