My Background
I am a Chartered Accountant and qualified Project manager (PRINCE2) with a proven track-record in strategic development and planning; effecting business and organisational change; and providing innovative solutions. With a reputation of being a high-energy, high-impact, ‘outside-the-lines’ thinker, I have worked with corporations, not-for-profits, charities and churches to release vision, effect change and launch strategies for sustainable success.
My approach is grounded in over 15 years of corporate experience at organisations such as Kroll, Deloitte, and Defra; and as a self-employed consultant where I have helped small organisations and businesses begin to fulfill their potential. I also established and ran a Christian charity that focused on empowering local churches to connect with their communities in relevant and practical ways.
Underpinning all that I do is an awareness that life is a journey we share, and none of us has yet reached our destination. My passion for people, my sensitivity, and my self-awareness have led me to gain a reputation as an effective team-builder, team-player, negotiator, and motivator.
My passion has led me to a vision of ‘a generation of people released to live the life they were made for; alive to the full extent of all that means, maximising and going beyond their potential’. In pursuing this vision I have made it my mission to use my skills, abilities, gifts and connections to seize every moment, shaping it to the benefit and fulfilment of the dreams of those around me; to release vision and facilitate the journey towards it for the people whose paths, whether by accident or design, intersect my own.

My Key Skills
Communication
I have extensive experience of report writing, assisting businesses and individuals to present information in a usable and accessible form appropriate to the target audience. In particular, I have been involved in report writing for companies seeking to present results to support proposals to, and meet demands imposed by, lenders and other stake-holders.
In addition, I have experience of copy-writing for both on-line and printed media, supporting clients in the development of accurate and compelling promotional material.
I have also developed strong verbal communication skills: presenting workshops, speaking directly to groups in conference settings, and to groups of all sizes in internal company/client meetings.
Financial Management
I have successfully assisted clients to establish sound financial management processes, ensuring robust cost-control and long-term capital management. Working with organisations facing extreme financial pressure, I developed strong cost-control skills, steering businesses through trading periods with severe working capital constraints. .
In addition, I have established a reputation as someone who is able to clearly and concisely present useful, useable information supported by demonstrable conclusions, and offering strategies for ongoing development to meet the requirements of a diverse range of stakeholders.
Project Management
By my personality and my willingness to engage with the unfamiliar and the seemingly un-doable, I am particularly suited to dynamic and unpredictable environments that require a high degree of flexibility and adaptability. However, my ability to thrive in such environments is underpinned by a detailed and methodical approach that is equally suited to project management in stable settings.
I have successfully managed IT network installations, from procurement to implementation, facility expansion projects, web-site projects, specific outreach initiatives, end-user customer charging strategy implementation, IT software roll-outs , and specific internal system development projects. To support the vast practical experience he has gained, I recently qualified as a PRINCE2 practitioner.
Negotiation
I have strong negotiation skills, which have been demonstrated throughout my career, both in the demanding and challenging environments of organisations in financial distress or undergoing substantial change, and in handling negotiations for commercial contractual agreements.
